Monique founded Connected Legal + Commercial on a simple belief: that the best legal advice comes from someone who understands how business actually works – not just how the law reads.
As a second-career lawyer, Monique brings something most lawyers can't offer. Before qualifying in law, she spent years as a producer, production manager and television executive, working across global production companies, broadcasters, multinational digital publishers and national sporting organisations. She has built teams, managed operations, negotiated deals and solved problems under pressure – on the business side of the table.
She went on to serve as Senior Legal Counsel at Yahoo Australia before founding CLC in 2022. Today she advises business owners, founders and executive leaders on commercial law, employment, contracts and disputes – with a particular focus on media, creative and digital businesses.
Monique also sits as Standing Chair of the Cricket NSW Integrity Tribunals and Judiciary Committee, and serves on the Advisory Board of GIAGO.
Her goal is simple: to make the law an asset, not an obstacle.

Paula is an experienced senior lawyer who provides legal services for private clients including property transactions (both residential and commercial), deceased estates, wills, powers of attorney, and appointments of enduring guardian.
Paula values and enjoys helping clients with legal transactions that they have little or no understanding of and guiding them through with clear advice throughout the transaction.

Louise brings operational expertise and creative thinking to the business of running a growing law firm. At Connected Legal, she works across systems, documentation and communications - supporting the team and strengthening the infrastructure that underpins great legal work.
Jackie contributes to the marketing efforts at Connected Legal, specialising in creating social graphics, managing targeted email campaigns, overseeing website updates, and developing effective advertising strategies to enhance the firm’s online visibility and achieve its marketing goals.
